Lets Get Jiggy With IT!

After hanging the photo donated to us we realized just how sparse our front walls are.  For awhile now they have stood blank.  The reason for this is we did not want to be the "Standard" bike shop.  Having posters of X-games, and riders clad in religion-revealing spandex tearing around the track.  Nor did we want a vast selection of impulse generated accessory items detracting from the bikes themselves.  On the other hand we didn't want to decorate the front like the back of the store (intermingles with parts stock hang our personal items such as a "Twilight" and "Iron Man" movie poster amongst other things) because that may confuse some as to what kind of a shop this place is.  Well with the addition of this lovely photo came the simple solution of what to hang for decor (yes some of you are now about to say "DUH!") pictures of bikes.  But not stock promotional photos, personal ones.  So the call has gone out to all of our folks to dig through the old family albums and find photos of us as kiddos on our bikes, trikes or whatever pedal power device we had driven, to turn into wall art fodder!  Furthermore as an afterthought, We want to ask any of YOU listening, please bring in or send to us any photos of you and yours on bikes, trikes... whatever with your permission to hang them in the front of the shop.  An elegant solution to our decorating woes!

On the work front: Rubbing our hands furiously together to maintain body temperature (this place is like a barn!) we are overcoming the obstacles on our re-cent projects.  Matt's Trek had issues with the crank, seems like he's got it figured out now, though.  Zombie-boy is as we speak digging in the bone yard for some necessary parts to complete the Haro, and another one he started last night,  The three-wheeler I've been putzin with for the last two days is now 90% done (hey cut me some slack, this is an old British 3-wheeler...not the most forgiving bike!) and then I'm on to putting out some BMX'ers I accumulated yesterday.  So keep watching this page for updates!
With that I say aidue'!
