Welcome to Bizarro World

Me am not knowing what it happened?
Talk about odd days.  Good odd, but odd.
Oddly enough (OK, I'll stop) the other day someone around here mentioned that the kids bikes we had "Would never sell"  True there are a few that have sat here long enough to collect some dust, but not many.  Most of the kids bikes we sell are "higher end" BMX.  So it was quite odd (sorry) STRANGE that this after noon our little shop QUICKLY filled up with 9 or 10 construction types, all looking at kids bikes.  Well after the round about of how much here how much here they finally asked to purchase 5 of them.  I cut them a GREAT deal as I thought it was a wonderful gesture that they all came in to buy there kids bikes.
I was incorrect in my assumption as they mounted the bikes and road away laughing and talking.
Must be a new fad.  Especially the gentleman who was about 5'8" ridding off on an 18 inch bike.
Then no sooner had those sold but three more folks came in to buy 3 more BMX er's and at the end of the night the first group of guys came back (pedaling furiously) to buy one more for another friend.  Leaving us with only ONE kids bike left.  A situation we are heartily at work to rectify!
Also, today Angela had commented that none of our vintage bikes have been selling and no sooner did she say this that a lovely couple who had bought a bike for him a couple of weeks ago came in and scooped up the gorgeous vintage ladies Schwinn Suburban.  Glad to see she's on the road with you sir!  Happy trails!
Oooooooooo, my wife's spooky!
Today was busy on the re-pair front as well, banging them out left and right and hardly had any time to put out new stock. But that's OK!  We LOVE the chances you give us to serve you and wouldn't have it any other way!  Jose's been having some misfortune lately with the projects he picks as he gets them about 90% done only to hit a brick wall.  Missing parts, troubled fit's etc.  But we're working on learning him the art of improvisation!  Have no fear he'll get it!
Adam is SO CLOSE to being done on the organization.  I unfortunately threw him a curve ball as I discovered that there were my parts miss filled and had to ADD a little to his dwindling pile.  SORRY!  But if it's gonna be done best be done right (or at least fake it a little better).
Picked up even more goodies today (YAY!) A nice (soon to be) Men's Road bike, Not sure of the make yet, as it needs LOTS of work and a re-paint, Nice Old school Cross, a chopper (parts more then likely) and thanks to that someone, whomever they may be who left a little care package at our front door this morning in the shape of a Schwinn Ranger!  Granted, looks like the rear end had been run over, but it's a bike worth fixin!  Thank you again!
Well, i am off to the house for my nightly hose down, and to continue the X-files marathon (on episode 8.  HOO-RAY for HULU!)
Peace!
