Comic Book Heroes

Oh today was an AWESOME day!  Thanks to all the cool folks who again, entrusted there beloved 'cycles to us!
And to Chip for his awesome photo tag sent via the "tweed ride"  That I unfortunately forgot about!  Check him out in his regaled splendor below!
We NEVER tire of the kind of goodwill we were treated to today!  Amongst all thanks to William for letting us redesign his sweeties ride!  AND for bringing in his SWEET kids!  She's the cutest thing (Next to Izy and Rozy oF course) and there little boy has the BIGGEST brown eyes you'll EVER see!!
And to the gentleman who brought in his son's BMX for re-pairs.  I never get tired of that momentary pause of trepidation that comes over the eyes of the customer only to have it quickly replaced by one of relief when they find out just how cheap the re-pairs turn out to be and then surprise when they find out how quick it will be done!  He was so elated that he had us end up doing even more work and still ended up costing him less then half of another quote!
And the joy didn't end there!
Had a lovely lady stop in looking for a re-placement bike for her grandson, and didn't want to spend to much as they only were there on the weekend and the bike in question belonged to her 6 year old.  She had brought in his other bike which had "issues" to use as a trade.  Of course I suggested we look at the other bike first to see just what it may need to get up and running.  Seems it spent a LITTLE to much time in the rain, and the chain was fused, and both petals were shot.  But that was it.  I relished the look of genuine appreciation at the fact that we could fix it up (plus add a kickstand) for only $21.00!!  A far cry less then she had anticipated on spending.  And if that wasn't enough, when she asked "should I come back at the end of the week to pick it up?"  I could only smile and ask "do you have any errands to run her?  'Cause it'll be done in a half an hour."  Oh her look was precious!
OH YES!  It was an AWESOME day!
Put just the spry back in my shorts that I needed!
Worked on getting more of the cleaned goodies out on the shelves.  Adan and Puddles have been working on the LAST of the HUGE bucket of LOP's (left over parts) that we have accumulated over the last three years (trust me it was a HA-YOUGE bucket of little itty bitty screws and springs and nuts and bolts) and they are about a day away from being done.
Glad I didn't have to do it!  That's why they get paid the big bucks!
Yes, I bet they are squirting milk out of their noses right now as well!
Finally got to work on the last remaining three wheeler special I'd been waiting for EVER for parts on!
I'm sure the customer will be happy to find it completed.
Jose' made a cameo appearance today to finish up a couple things but had to jack rabbit out early.  Hopefully we'll get him all day tomorrow (oh that didn't sound right).  And Adam will be back at it again, hopefully to completion!
Well, I best get a move on, as we have an X-files marathon to begin.  Elijah now has the theme as his ring tone so it got Momma and I in the mood!
