sweet talk

I have to admit it, today we got what I would have to call 2 of the BEST and most heart warming compliments to date.  First came from a young gentleman in the area for vacation, who happened by our little shop.  He poked around a bit, got to shuffle through the Dungeon and asked a whole bunch of thoughtful questions.  Obviously he was more then a novice cyclist, he knew his stuff, and as he was leaving he thanked us and his parting words were "it's been a LONG time since I've been in a REAL bike shop!"  WOW!  He got it!  Not a conglomerate corporate "store" but the neighborhood "Bike Shop".  This sentiment was only solidified later by one of the best of places.  A Dad and his two young daughters walking in front of the shop, stopped at the behest of their older daughter, perhaps 8 or 9 who told Angela "Thank you for being in our neighborhood!"
Oh it made my heart melt!  Simply put makes all the trials and tossed about bike parts worth while!
Well today saw our fair share of excitement!  The Men's banger bike I put out night before last went out to a happy vacationer (thank you sir!) who had bought his wife the purple Trek last week, now this one is for ihim!  The Men's Free Spirit sold to a fine gentleman whom had bought a female Free Spirit 2 days prior.  Thanks for the continued Business!  Tell your friends!
The Vintage Free Spirit (with a little on the fly modifications) sold right quick this morning to one of our regulars!  Thank you, Man!  I love a man that knows what he wants!
Oh...that didn't sound right.
Anyway...
Shout out to Khoi!  Hope you LOVE the custom 3-Wheeler and we'll give your trade a new lease on life.  Just don't let the dog pull you off THIS one!
And as is our mantra, we appreciate all the trust and faith you put in us to do up your re-pairs!  And boy Howdy was today a busy one for them!  Happy to get so many folks back on the road.
As far as new goodies, Finally got 1 of the Raleigh 20's done, but FORGOT to take a pic!  Will remedy that Monday. I know slow day product wise, but hey it was BUSY!  And re-pairs ALWAYS come first!
Jose' Has a couple goodies in the works, Not the least being a sweet old school Hard Rock!  So be looking out for those!
Well thanks to all the folks for making today great!  Talk at ya latah!
