an ODD day

I was a good boy today, all things considered.
Considering that our day started in an ODD and rather disturbing way.  Suffice it to say we REALLY need to get out of that hotel, ASAP!   Momma and I have not got any really good sleep since staying there and this morning we were exhausted, so we missed our opportunity to get the 8 am bus, we just slept in and headed for the 9 am.  Momma stayed there to get a little more sleep, and I escorted the kids out.  While exiting our room they of course had started to leave without me, when I heard the room next to us.  A fight was underway and unfortunately passing that room was the only way out, the door was wide open and you could hear male voices yelling.  I hurried to catch up with the kids and shuffle them away when i was met with a rather disturbing sight.  It was two grown men...fighting....naked.
Now I leave it to your imagination as to what they were fighting about as I didn't stick around to find out.  Apparently though, according to Angela the dispute was ended shortly there after by the police, chasing one of them around the yard.  Apparently he had not changed into something more suitable for running.
Un HUNH!
SO, coming to work, I was a slight bit frazzled, and needed some down time (even with Izy in tow) so i puttered on the 'puter for awhile, updating some info.  This is a long way of excusing why we only put out one bike today...sorry.  And i didn't even do that one it was Matt's.  Oh I did a few er-pairs (Thank you so much) and sold a couple of bikes. (special nod of the hat to the incredibly intelligent young man who snatched up the $60.00 banger we put out yesterday, and he is planning on using it to commute and exercise (CONVERT!!! YAY!!!)) we sold another but I'm so burnt I can't remember which one...it'll come to me.
And at the tail end of the day we got some real CHOICE goodies from Terry the scrap guy!  all clearly set in someones back yard years ago, but under all that dust, dirt, weed, rust and filth were a Shiny nice Nishiki Meridian SC (I mean still gloss on the paint!) and an Eddie Bauer EBS.   I've already got the Nishiki stripped and cleaned and will re-assemble tomorrow.  She'll Be SWEET!
SO, even more wonders and excitement tomorrow to come!  Now I think I'll head out take a Valium and try and sleep.
Just kidding...no Valium
