OK, sorry.
But thanks to Chip and his fellow (and female) members of the GOMBA'S (Grumpy old Men Bicycle...er...ah...Association....assembly.....?) for paying us a visit on their ride today. Thanks for all the compliments on the new shop, and cool conversations. I do appreciate local involvement in our little venture and it's great when it's by good friends. Check out their leaving pics below and as I am completely lousy with names aside from Chip framed by the Budweiser truck, I am totally ashamed I can't recall any introductions. I chock it up to senility and we'll leave it at that.
Today was a right hoot as we sold three more goodies to happy folks. One in particular, the Murry Wildcat sold to a very tenacious couple who have come in almost every day sine we opened the new place looking for rides. Thanks for your patience and will be looking for ride for her next. Also had one of my favorite type of turn around today. Bought a gorgeous men's 7 speed, then put it on the rack to refurb (or more specifically fix what ailed it as the body was still super nice. Then gave it a bath, took a pic and as I was putting it in the window gent walking by came in to ask how much and snagged it right up! I leave you with it's pic as it was a real sharp looking ride. ALSO bought up a beat up BMX that was sporting some nice extra (odd on this rough looking frame) but gave it a full re-furb and repaint. This one sports Animal platforms, a 9 tooth set of Alienation rims and 3-piece crank! Topped off with sweet couple trick tread and got one sweet ride!
SO keep an eye peeled on the blog for the newest goodies tomorrow as we still got a lot to work on!
Headed home for din-din and chill time!
