Slowly we build...step by step....closer and closer....

BWAH-HA-HA!!!
That's my best printed interpretation of a spooky creature lunging out at you.
ANYWAY!
Yesterday...well, it was a Tuesday.  And let's be fair, it's not like we had a lot to show all the folks that did come in!  No, was basically repairs, and builds.  Yes, we got some more goodies into build!  Thanks to the folks making donations, that was REALLY nice!  Of course, as bikes become scarce, so do some bike parts.  So a couple of 'em that we got in are going to have to sit until we  get pesky things like tires and such.  BUT, did manage to put out two newbies!  A really sharp looking ladies Kahuna seven speed cruiser AND a light weight GT hybrid that took ALLOT of TLC but in the end was seriously worth it!
On to new business!  I have to thank a gent from Kentucky for planting a seed in my fertile brain (loose translation, my head is lined with bulls**t) he happened upon one of our Craigslist ads and ordered up a set of Cinelli brakes we had.  Got me thinking, now that we take credit cards what's to keep us from spreading the wealth across the country?  So in the net few days, we will be adding a new feature to the blog "A Parts Department!"  Let's face it, shipping a whole bike across the country is an expensive proposition, and we can do it when applicable, but a box of parts?  Much cheaper!  So we will be listing some of the better or vintage pieces available to everyone!  Keep your eyes peeled for that!
Allrighty, now I'd best get a move on, and do some of these things!
See ya soon!

That ladies' GT came out very nice! Someone's going to get a real gem there. Good job.

  3. Yeah, they sure painted that bike. The whole, entire bike. Wow. Sometimes you just have to step back and admire the ignorance.

Still, it looks to be a GT Slipstream, which is a nice bike.
