Rollin', Rollin', Roooollin!

The bird has left the nest.
Elijah has set off on his tour of the United States, first stop Georgia.  Then the following week hits Louisiana, then Virginia.  Oddly, this has not sunk in yet.  Oh yes, in a couple days I will be waxing nostalgia, so prepare yourselves for that.  But today?  Just feels like any other day.  We did a Pizza party for him last night, then his last "Family Movie Night" for a while.  Angi took him out to Wally World after to get him supplies, toiletries and a set of long johns.  It's gonna be COLD where he's going!
*sniff*  Seems like just yesterday I was chasing him and Kaleb through the furniture store yelling "put that down!" and "get off there!"  Weird, the things you remember most.
ANYWHO!
All the excitement last night, and their late night shopping trip (not to mention Miranda's NEW schedule of not willing to go to bed until midnight) had me up WAY past my bedtime!  Don't you hate it, when the more you want to go to sleep, the more prevailing are the reason you can't!  Although, I am partially to blame, as I continued to play Hit man until about three am!  That game is SO addictive!
OK
So yesterday, although miserable weather outside, was real busy!  Several repair drop offs and many (thank you SO much) repair pick ups!  And it figures.  The hold area (which is also "Bone Row") was getting a wee bit unmanageable with all the stuff shoved in there, so in an attempt to get at the rebuilds easier I pushed all the finished repairs that have lingered here for awhile to the very back.  I commented to Angela as I was doing it "Just watch, as soon as I get these all back here, the folks will start coming in for them and I will have to dig them out again!"
Sure enough!
Five folks came in to retrieve their rides!  HAHA!
At least we have some elbow room!
Also sent two home to new families, one of them about seven minuets after we posted it.  This one was a rare find, a Group 1 Haro BMX.
(WOW!  That was a nice break in my morning!  In ten minuets sent four to new homes!)
OK, so now, my continued ranting's must cease, 'cause in the last 30 minuets we have about been depleted of stock!  And I HAVE to get to work trying to pump out some more goodies!
See ya soon!

  1. Steven-

Somehow, I suspect that it WAS just yesterday that you were yelling at them in the furniture store. Still, I am looking forward to the Elijah Updates!
