Where to begin?
OK, yesterday first in reference to the title to cure your morbid curiosity. The Local Fair came to town for the weekend. About twice a year the carnies set up their chotskys in the local Church yard, and once the kids see that Ferris wheel...Well, that's all she wrote. So after a treat at Checkers we went down to do our bit for "Fond memories". I gotta hand it to the kids, this time they were real good. Only a SLIGHT modicum of the sad puppy dog eyes and "PAHHHHLEEEEEZE" just ONE more ride!?!?!" But they've been doing good for a while, so we treated them (and Mom and Dad treated themselves to a Carney Sausage with Onions and peppers...Ohhh There is nothing more Greaserriffic!) In the end a VERY good evening, the kids were still cutting up and laughing about it at dinner tonight, Sweet actually.
Good times...good times.
So today, was a cannon shot from the get go! Barely in the store and the rush started! We had 5 re-pairs waiting for us from yesterday (no Mech on Sunday) so as we were digging in the others were coming in! And I'll tell you I gotta be proud of Jose. He hit it running and had 3 done before I could blink! Then the race was on! I kept up with him until i got on a full re-furb and that took over an hour and a half, so he had me at the finish line! In the end we put out 11 repairs with 3 left (but we have to wait on parts for those so they don't count against our final score! And to boot, Jose put out two new Pretties as well! (with a little help from Kaleb, after he finished his schoolin')
I'll tell you there is nothing quite so satisfying as stepping into a shower at the end of a busy day and seeing the soapy water at your feet turning BLACK! THEN you KNOW you worked hard!
And I'll take a brief pause here (first for you to shake the grotesque visual image that last statement plastered on your minds eye, and secondly to promote a product that has NOTHING to do with bikes) to tell you I picked up a new soap tonight its a liquid Irish Spring Intensify.
IT DOES! WOW, it has Mentholiptus! It's like bathing in a Mild Ben-Gay! WOW. Not for the faint of heart but it REALLY wakes you up!

OK, so we got some more goodies in to today, and MAN do we need them after this weekend and today! Pretty near wiped out again! Picked up a couple more banger MTBS, a nice GT BMX, needs some TLC but she'll be sweet! Couple more banger BMX'ers and a Sweet Giant Cypress! Yes folks you heard me right! The Hybrid to DIE FOR! The one EVERYONE wants... But sorry you can't have it. When my Dad was in Florida for the last few months, he had been here a week and his Cypress was stolen right off his trailer, and I promised I'd find him another. And Sorry, Dad i know I said I'd post pics, but was so busy forgot to take 'em. I'll e-mail 'em out tomorrow!
